Amirdrassil Raid Guide

Amirdrassil: The Dream’s Hope is a new nine boss raid. Blizzard is releasing this raid with all difficulties unlocked at the same time, including Mythic (starting November 14th on NA realms).

The following guides are designed around Heroic, with brief snippets at the bottom on Mythic mechanics. The strategies within will work on normal mode as well with reduced mechanics – it’s always good to practice good habits!

As always, these guides are subject to change as they are based on PTR testing, and will be updated ASAP upon hitting live servers. The final boss wasn’t available to test on the PTR and the guide for it will release a little later.

Useful information

Amirdrassil is not a linear raid and you have some choices over which bosses you take on when.
- You must kill Gnarlroot and Igira first, and then you can choose between two 2 boss wings (each wing end boss offers tier).
  - Wing 1 (Left) – Volcoross followed by Larodar.
  - Wing 2 (Right) – Council of Dreams followed by Nymue.
- After completing both wings, you continue on a linear path to face Smolderon and Tindral. Each of these bosses drops the remaining tier pieces.
- Finally, you face Fyrakk, the final boss – it drops an omni tier token that can be converted into any tier slot.

Key consumables

The following are old Aberrus materials and need updating for the new ones come 10.2.

Draconic Phial Cauldron and Potion Cauldron
Food (usually feasts provided by your guild)
Augment Runes
Enchants and Gems
Vantus Runes for the progression boss that week
